One hell of a ride
Just to get out alive
Bearing hurt pain and strife
To help save another's life
Scared to death
You can't draw breath
Because you wonder and doubt
And it's the easy way out
You think it through
And you thought you knew
But it's not a way out
So scream and shout
Your life's not through
You'll see, it's true
A new life to live
And not give in
Just smile and pray
For another day
To live life through
For me and you
