A Fragment of a Summer Dream
A fragment of a dream that summer has seen.
As the days go by and the grass turns green,
The bees will buzz,
And the sun will shine,
With every ray a morning light.
The days are long and the weeds are tall,
That summer haze that takes us all.
With every day the wind will blow,
Leaves across the lake will flow..
Days we spend that quickly end,
Know not of any time that bends,
Or stops,
So that grass stays green,
A fragment of a summer dream.
