Everything Burns
The fire begins
Without making a sound
Soon this whole city
Will burn to the ground
Chaos and panic
As flames stretch higher
The city's consumed
In unquenchable fire
No mercy or kindness
The fuel is hate
Burning up buildings
With heat that's so great
Unfathomable power
As I watch it all burn
And just maybe now
The people will learn
They'll all beg for mercy
They'll surely say please
As smoke fills their lungs
And they fall to their knees
It's not all for money
It burns down a tower
It's not all for fame
Not for wealth or power
The message is simple
No need for caskets or urns
My point surely is
That everything burns
