Me against the world
spirals and swirls
Crash and burn
as the world turns
Life goes cold
people grow old
Death gets to close
when i overdose
Try to swallow
to get away from sorrow
Pop away the pain
struggle to be sane
Reach for the sky
fly away from life
No longer strong
always wrong
Face of depression
a sick obsession
Mentally ill
escape through the pill
Emotion kills the soul
criticism makes me dull
Slip into the night
until you reach the light
Don't give up the fight
always embrace life
