Minds of Memoria
Oh what to confess, but a heart in distress,
A love that has long since gone.
A love I do miss, a life without bliss
Though it seems that you have moved on.
At night I am dead, yet awake in my bed
Remembering the memories we had.
I’ve been sullen and sad, and for hours I bled.
In crimson my forearms are clad.
So barely I’ve slept while my heart has still wept,
Cold and alone in the night.
Of daggers and knives in my conscience have crept
To end all this miserable fright.
But this I confess, emotions untold, my love I could never tell:
In the blackness of ice and coal, my heart continues to tole
The downtrodden knell of a deathly cold bell.
It rings and sings a song unsung to you dear
Rebecca Nicole.
