Blood Clots

Blood clots through the leg
blood clots through the arm
In ICU keeping a smile
but still inside I'm torn
One through my lung
One pressing on my heart
How does this end
How did it even start
Doctors and hospitals
every week
When people ask why
I feel like a freak
With everything I try
there is a risk of dying
sometimes I feel like giving up
I ask why am i trying
Bruises from the shots
that I must endure
At times I'd rather die
than take this anymore
I stay strong
but inside I want to let go
why would god do this
does anyone know
Almost 16
Not a worry in the world
Until the words blood clots
is what i heard
