Life.
when I was little I wanted to grow up
I wanted to have money to spend as I please
I wanted to drive, to have freedom
I wanted to be out of school, homework a thing of the past
I thought I could conquer the world
nothing could hurt me, I was invincible
college, a thing to worry about later
career, I can stress about it another time
money, how hard can it be to find a good job?
when I was little
stress wasn't in my vocabulary
I actually got a good night’s sleep on weekdays
I stayed in on the weekends to hang out with my parents
energy was endless and caffeine unnecessary
good grades were easy and we had naptime at school
when I’m older
I will want to be back in school
want more free time, and less work
hate bills, and other boring adult things and
I will want my youth
