"equality"
“Equality”
She loves her like shed love a man
Walks with pride
Proud to say she is with a woman
Not scared to show their love
Of course she was scared at first
To let people know they date
Because she was scared nobody would accept her
Except them
But nobody knew how much she loves her
And they still never will
She had to tell her parents
Her heart thumped, thumped, thumped hours before she would tell
Telling her mom felt like BAM Being hit by a bus
Telling her dad was easy!
But, now her mom accepts it and she is glad she told her
Nobody should be told they can’t date their own gender.
