Glossy moonlight bathes the open hall
All is forgotten but the battle rages on
To infinity, to all
For an empire for those who are gone
Brave me who should have left their swords to rust
Fight in the burning moonlight
They fight for no one yet they must

Fighting wars is the job of the living
But the Dead fight night after night
For a flame that keeps us living
They fight against the voids might
They keep the flame from flickering out
And plunging the world into chaos and shadow
They fight a war we know nothing about
So we can not name them heroes
We are the Empire of the Flame
They say in the darkness of the night
This world we are forced to live in gives us not aim
We fight a faceless enemy to shield your rights
The dead suffer no remorse
And everyday they let us shine
They are brutally beaten and their voices are hoarse
