The Mother's Sign
Mother Nature is so great, she never segregates
She gives everyone fruits of support, seeds of shade and flowers of love
She spreads her wings, to welcome us like a dove.
Look outside, see the trees
Watch the leaves rustling in the breeze
Things won’t be like this in a decade or two
If pollution is All we do.
Broken up bottles and charred glass
Wadded up newspapers lying on the grass
Pouring of concrete is all I see;
This is the environment that I see.
This Mother Nature, who gives us life;
This Mother Nature, her heart filled with strife.
We love her or not,
Although we should;
Her death we plot,
For our own selfish ‘good’
She tries to keep peace between humans, animals and birds;
But we humans like to disturb!
We destroy, destruct and dismantle the joys of nature
With our powerful trucks and bulldozers.
We're moving fast and living large,
Forgetting she's the one in charge.
Amazed when she rings our bell,
Sending us through living hell.
She can twist our steel, shake any city,
If her wrath you feel, we shall pity.
Although Mother Nature’s nature is very peaceful,
When she gets angry, she can be destructful.
Humans Beware! Earthquakes, Tsunamis and tornados are just some of her weapons
And she warns us to stop in our path of destruction.
We need to open our eyes and realise,
Mother Nature is dying before our eyes.
Or else, one day she will have to give up;
And Earth will become a chaotic hub.
Within years, Earth will become a barren desert;
A changed bitter appetizer from a wonderful desert!
