The Moon

The moon is yet the divinity I admire
Luminescence of pensive desire
A mutilated acreage arising supreme
Extraordinary realm of unforsaken dreams.

Intrepidity circumvents its essence
Even as perdition bombards its presence
Radiating a message to proclaim:
Only with a impregnable interior can one remain.

The author's comments:
While peering up at the moon, I suddenly realized that no matter how much trouble and amount of debris crash into its surface, the moon incessantly returns, always appearing. Through this, the moon's perseverance inspired me to write this poem because, just like the moon, even as we stumble onto daily obstacles, we can remain strong and untouched by our negative emotions. Overall, I fervently hope this poem will achieve to awaken the minds of those suffering and to alleviate the worries of tomorrow.
