Falling

I'm falling at the edge.
I took the plunge into the depths.
I saw my ghosts rise up
burying me in my doubts.

The flaws form the road,
that I rode to the top.
The mountain my life,
which crescends to a hault with every step.

The canyon my fears.
A mossy depth, the water,
my hate filling every crack
my soul reflected below.

I slow at the edge.
The road surges on,
over the dip
into the fractured glass.

Time slows; tears stop.
I'm at a peak
with only one way down,
I peer over catching my breath.

I'm falling at the edge.
I chose the plunge into the depths,
to release the hate, and the hurt.
Whose gonna catch me?
