Have you thought about a raindrop?
The dispair it must feel
when it falls off a cloud
and smacks into a roaring machines window.
Can you picture the fear?
Of sliding down the glass,
of the wind beckoning you to the black.
Can you feel the pain?
Of exploding on the pavement
and being crushed by hundred pound tires.
Can you taste the regret?
Of laying for hours staring at your home
with no way to go back.
