I’m going to ignite my memories;
Burn them to dust.
Throw out the ashes with the wind,
Let them fly away.
Start a fire of thought, so
I’m going to ignite my memories.
Breathe the ash out of my lungs,
Blow it up into the sky.
A match
Lit from pain and anger.
I’m going to ignite my memories,
Burn them away.
Empty my mind of the regrets and fears
A clean slate, remnants of identity
Give me a match, one to burn for half an eternity.
I’m going to ignite my memories.
