Aim for the moon so even if you miss you'll still be among the stars

Do what you love
Love what you do
Many a time
We forget to follow through

It’s like a clock
Just ticking away
Our lives will be over
And what will people say
She was nice
He was fun
But what will you think
When it’s all done

Did you do what you wanted?
Did you find your knack?
Did you accomplish your goals?
Or did you just sit back?

We should have no regrets
When we are on our way out
Everyone, including you
Should know what your life
Was all about.

Isaac Asimov - "Intelligence is an accident of evolution, and not necessarily an advantage.”

Usually people would say that this poem needs imagery to enforce your point within the use of metaphors or similes; as much as it would give an affect to your poem, this poem does not need it, you give your point across and its works. However, the only issue I can see, although minor, is the lay out. You use a question mark, but no other punctuation. If you use full stops, commas, and semi colons then it will give the poem a tempo and it will flow easier, hence improving it dramatically. It will also make it more emotional and it will stick in the readers head more.
