At This Lonely Moment...
At This Lonely Moment…
•
I understand.
•
It’s a rainy day and you’re bored. The Jigsaw puzzle on the table is half finished.
The entire house is deserted and dead silent. If you feel wrong then don’t. It isn’t your fault the house is empty.
•
Walk outside and you’ll see birds sifting through the trash for food. It’s strange how our trash, something that’s unwanted by us, can be something else’s food source, something they need to survive. You realize that even though you might not feel right in the situation you’re currently in, someone else would be more than happy to take your place.
•
At least you have your health, and tons of people without homes would be grateful to be in your big, empty house. Still, realizing that some people are worse off , doesn’t change the fact that you’re currently lacking companionship.
•
You call your friends, but it goes straight to voicemail. It’s disappointing, but even hearing your friend’s voice say “I’m not in right now, but I will get back to you as soon as possible” is a lot better than hearing nothing at all. It beats the hell out of sitting in silence.
•
Despite your situation, there’s no need to worry. The rain will eventually stop. You’ll finish the puzzle and find out what it is in the picture. Your family will come back home. Pretty soon you’ll enjoy living life in the place that you are.
•
Take a walk outside. The sun is coming out over the clouds. You feel warmer just looking at it. The yellow ring around the sun looks like the halo of an angel. Don’t worry. Your future is as bright as the horizon.
•
The phone rings.
The End
