My Christmas Wish
I wish upon this Christmas Eve,
That you and I still can believe,
In this life that we weave
And love that we in full receive.
As we grow old and start to live,
I hope that we have learned to give.
Give to those that have more need,
And through that giving we can lead.
Another wish I have for us,
Is that we have come to trust,
In life and love, yes, we must,
Keep moving on and into the dusk.
Life begins and life ends,
But me and you forever twins,
Stick side by side in this storm,
With hearts that are completely warm.
