You will try to touch me, but you will not succeed.
Looking toward me you will see nothing.
When you reach for me, you will grasp only empty air.
Understanding who I am is impossible,
Yet, your faith in me still remains.
You believe but cannot see or feel,
Is that your faith that brings you here?
Your friend yearns for me,
But since “believing is seeing” he cannot see or touch me,
He remains empty.
For when I come to take you away you will say,
“My faith has brought me here today.”
Then your friend will exclaim,
“Take me for I have done many good works.”
But your friend will be left on this forbidden land,
Since he did not believe in the Son of Man.
For I will remain in your heart,
I am un-touchable,
I am unstoppable,
I am invincible,
I am invisible,
I am eternity,
I am God.
