Winter
The hard frozen ground is dusted with snow,
The crisp air whips and burns my face.
So I look down and keep my head low
But my cheeks turn red, my ears go numb.
Oh how I wish this cold would go.
I long for tan skin, and hot summer days,
Abosorbing the sun, and everythings fun.
I miss the full green of the trees around,
Now they are grey and their leaves on the ground.
Hiding inside, we escape the cold,
With nothing to do, except wait for warmth
Oh summer days, where did you go?
