Somewhere along the line, I lost
In so deep, I couldn't handle the cost
I'm drowning in the lies you told
I'm drowning and the waters so cold

I'm alone, you're no place to be found
crying out, you won't here a sounds
But wasn't that always your way
To never listen to what I had to say

So tell me when did you become almighty
Truth be told you were always quite flighty
Before me you were nothing at all
Why are you intent on watching me fall

What was my first mistake?
To cause this never ending headache.
Was it trusting the girl with sparkling eyes
I should have known it was all a disguise

I'd be careful with your new-found leadership
all it will take is one little slip
You'll end up in tears and all alone.
Be careful up there on your throne.

Watch your back there's always a traitor
someone who, let's be honest, is much greater
acting sweet and pretending to be true
I guess now you'll know what i went through

Her eyes will sparkle like the sun
as you tell her all you have done
you'll give her the idea, your own undoing
can you feel the feud that's brewing.
