One Two Three Four Five
I took each step until the fun
Was over and the day was done;
Took in the memories I knew
The things I did and didn't do;
There is only one place to be
But to get in, I need a key;
So I'm stuck here, outside the door
Walking on this "outsider" floor;
I'm waiting for a time to thrive
So that I can feel more alive;
Waiting for something to arrive
Just something that I can derive;
Waiting to see what is in store
Looking if there's anything more;
Wishing there was time to be free
Maybe be a little more me;
But being outside isn't new
I know there's nothing I can do;
But close my eyes and try to run
And count down, five, four, three, two, one.
