My Lost Summer
This is isn’t an epic summer
I’ve lost it this year
because of my past grades
I could have been anywhere I wanted to be
like all the other kids which are
scattered around town
I regret every second of it
but what can I do
I can’t go back in time
and fix everything through
I wish I would have tried harder during
normal school as a
hardworking mother bird
would soothe her birds
Some people think they are forced to come to
Summer School but when you think of it
they came here on their own will.
If they would have tried harder they would
have been anywhere besides school.
I’ve learned a long life lesson
that always keep your head
high like a giraffe and never
backdown
Days are passing even quicker
than i thought. I never knew
summer school could
take a turn.
Even I though I regret
everything I did
Summer School is sort of fun.
Next year I promise
myself to do 10 times better
than I have done.
