My Blinded Armor
To see my world you must close your eyes.
Let the dark surround and seal the cracks that let in the light.
While in the light, you are found, but in the dark…
There is the ability to be the quiet of most sounds,
With my blind armor tightly closed around thee
The chances of the voices and pain to grab a hold of me
Are in the guarded prison of my doubting
Though the eyes of a life cannot close forever, unless the end.
My blind armor must soon gain sight as I wake, and the prison bars must bend.
Releasing the voices and pain once more
Showing the unprotected pathway towards my world’s door
For one’s life, to be again, only a hope for
The night, when my eyes can permanently close and never want to stop seeing more
