Heart of a Stray

Like of an ever-morphing cloud,
I have no single place in this world.
I have no home, no ground,
I have only my soul and the road ahead.
I may be small, and scared, and sad,
But I am strong, strong enough to laugh, love, and live.
Laugh at those who are confined, while I am free.
Love those that do love and those that love me.
And live my way, solitary, alone, but at least alive.
I will find my own path and follow my heart.
The heart of a fighter, lover, teacher, learner;
The heart of a stray.
