Spending those last
Few minutes
At the hospital
with the family
watching over him
my grandfather
watching him
Fade away
soon he wasn't their
seeing the way
he was here one second
and gone the next
he stopped breathing
a heart stopped beating
A golden heart
Stopped
Silence
tears in eyes
of those who loved him
Dearly
Sad
not knowing his gone
and he is not coming back
A golden heart
not pumping, beating anymore
All of those who knew him
and loved him
sadness to us all
