Someday and Today
Someday when I die
It will be just You and I
 Face to Face at last
My sins have all been cast
"Why should you come in" you'll ask
What will I say? have I completed the task?
"I have asked your forgiveness for my sins,
You have said I am now one of your kin"
This is my answer, and I am welcomed.
He leads me into heaven and I am beckoned.
By my loved ones, who have waited in eternity
United once again, great joy continuously
For in Heaven there are no tears or pain
There is no sin or forgiveness to gain
 You have all your forgiveness
 How great is your happiness

 Then on judgment day
"What have you done?" he will say.
 What will my answer be?
Can I answer "I have served you not me"?
If I can, how will he reply?
My dream to hear him say, not sigh,
 "Well done my faithful daughter
You have been shaped by the potter
I love you, and you have served me well!"
The answer I want to hear, twould be so swell!

As for now through each hour
I must rest on him with his power.
 This sinful world is rough
but with him I can be tough
I will trust and obey his word
Living each day as a bird
Singing his praise to all who pass
I pray it will be in great mass
To please my lord is my goal
For he has given his son, to save my soul
I am led by faithful parents in Christ
Who have served him all their lives
When I'm in need I call his name
But when I don't he is there just the same
 Christ is King!
 I am his servant!
