~Lost
The window is clouded with my breath,
The path shows proof of my steps,
Yet no one seems to see me.

The seat I sit in is clearly taken,
Surely it could not be mistaken?
Yet no one seems to see me.

I hum a tune, then sing a song,
But no one near will sing along.
I tell a joke with boisterous laugh,
Yet no one seems to hear me.
 I scream in rage,
 I yell in fright,
I howl; Yes howl! With all my might...
Yet no one seems to hear me.

In this house I once called home,
In this place I now must roam.
 Here alone I shall stay,
 Lost until my dying day.
