Last night, I got into a fight with my wife.
Last night, I got into a fight with my wife. We argued over something stupid. I told her I was sorry and please forgive me, she said, "no, only if you were cupid."
I left in the night without a word
not thinking of my child today
I turned around and snuck in the back door so my wife wouldn't hear and stay away.
I ran up the stairs with chills all over
a fear that my baby was weaping
I opened the door and ran to here crib
to see that she was only sleeping.
My nerves were bad, I felt so alone
I didn't know what to do.
In my arms, she moaved so calm and graceful
Then I say, "Oh my sweet, I have you."
I sat in the rocker and lay her on my chest to sleep
knowing that this very moment I could not keep.
As I rock her back to sleep and sing her a bittersweet song
I noticed something about this picture that was very wrong.
My baby had been sleeping for a while now
And she had not woken up.
I noticed I was rocking myself to sleep that night
and I didn't want to get up.
Searching for a signal to find out what I was doing...
I couldn't keep my eyes open just to know.
I woke up the next morning to see myself still there.I din't know where to turn, I didnt know where to go.
Suddenly an angel came to me with knowledge
Brightly her light showed me the way.
" Ibet you're wondering what I'm doing here," she said.
" What happended to me last night, what happened to yesturday?"
My angel took me by the hand and took me to a craddle
to see there was no child there to keep.
" Where's my baby," I asked, " she was sleeping."
" No my dear," she said, " You rocked yourself to sleep."

last night's dream, was this morning's nightmare.
Did the baby die?
Or did you?
This was amazing.
But i'm confused.
