All your life, you're taught to be good.
You're taught that it's okay to be homesick,
But when I go home, I'm living with the devil.

The wood door of my house gives way to my body
And I hear Lucifer's screams all around me.
My chest lightens from the sulfur.

I need to get out- I need to get out of here.
This place takes me away from everything I know,
But I know that I do not know everything.

Screeches of hate drive me away;
I cannot dwell within my head.
Satan closes his eyes and spreads his wings.

Falling back onto my bed, I dream.
Illusions of a perfect world in my hand,
But do sins show us what is truly divine?
