Favorite Quote:
"How do you feel? That is the question, but I forget you don't expect an easy answer. When something like a soul becomes initialized and folded up like paper dolls and little notes you can't expect a bit of hope..."
-Stone Sour "Through the Glass"

The life you took for the life you saved,
something coming in between,
lays silent and unseen.
Unspeakable acts of selfishness,
committed without a thought.

Am I that underlying statement?
Am I that slowly breaking heat?

The life you took for the life you saved,
buried under all your double standards,
is flattering even to unwanted bastards.
Hopelessness, it grips you now,
forgotten only by your thoughts.

Am I your last hope?
Am I the only way?

The life you took for the life you saved,
will never be forgotten,
because for you I was the last option.
Forever lost inside your mistake,
disembodied from your form.

Are you the one that saved my life?
Are you the one that I loved?

I had received news about my brother that broke my heart. I wrote this poem in honor of him.
P.S. I love you bubby. Thank you for fighting for me when everybody stood on the sidelines.
