"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds ways to kneel and kiss the ground." - Rumi

She offered her dreams
To the voice of the wind
Falsely guiding her life's direction
But still she smiled as she went
Turning love into a game
In the arms of the monster
With beautiful lies and devastating truths
Her faith was lost and, in time, became empty
Like a decaying pod forever lost
Upon the shifting tide of her metamorphosis

But too soon she knocked upon the door
Of something she'd known to be taboo
And embraced the world of dancing shadows
Twisting the light that she once knew

So I wonder:
Who is now my sister's keeper?
