"I live in my own little world. It's okay. They know me there" :)

An endless night
Crouched in her corner, her bewildered gaze scouring the emptiness
Dumb
Absent
Isolated among us

Night fell…
She began to scream!
The h e a t
The thirst
The pestilent stench
The suffocating lack of air

Nothing compared with these screams!

A few days more and we should have all started to scream too.

The author's comments:
these phrases were found in Ellie Weisels' "Night" a great and inspiring book about his experience in the holocaust.
