I am a baby boy.
Crawling and burping.
Always crying for attention.
Now I am a child.
Playing in the mud.
Always learning new words from daddy and mommy.
Now I am a teenager.
Playing loud music with the band.
Always asking to take dad’s truck for a joy ride.
Now I am a father.
Working and filing papers,
Always trying to find excuses when it’s my turn to change the diapers.
Now I am a grandpa.
Telling my life stories with the grandchildren.
Always losing my dentures.
Now I am dead.
Sleeping peacefully.
Always smiling at life.
