Looking to the skyline
Bleeding cuts
From broken glasses
See what happens
When you take chances
Searching for the open door
Hoping for a gleam of hope
No time to pause
For second glances
On foolish thoughts
Or Silly romances
Crying out a silent plead
Thinking one day that you will see
It’s not the time
For guilt or regret
It’s better to walk away
And forget
