He knows when to listen
She thinks before she speaks.
He knows when to give a hug and when to let her be.
She’s pretty sure y’all will never part no matter what they say,
He understands that she’s the badest chick around; so he’ll stay.
Then her heart tore in two
Tears in a pool!
Reminiscing on how things used to be.
She thought it was real,
She thought it would never end.
He was her fairytale
And her fairy tale just ended!
Now she knows;
Fairytales don’t always have a happy ending.
