September 21
September 21
 Love began for me
 In those hollow halls.
All day I thought about only him, Streching my thoughts farther, and Farther.

Cramming history notes into my bookbag As the bell rang, rushing out
 Just to see him.

 Where is he?
 In the loud hallways
 Lockers slam shut.
People push you out of their way
 Just to get by.

 Then, there he is,
 Scanning the hallway,
 Looking for me.
