Emptiness

Emptiness...
Is what I long for
Is what I need
And so I bleed
The blood must pour
Anger simmers in my blood
Love crawls ever so slowly through my veins
Hate, thick as mud
Now manic joy reigns
Sorrow, infectious as disease
Aggravation drip drops like poison
And now the blade begins to tease
I want it out
Must get it out
The ringing metal sings to me
The siren tempts me
Let it out
Get it out
The cold metal parts the skin
The poison drains away
All the way back to where I began
Emptiness... what a shame

Hi, my name is Matt. Im sixteen and I love literature. Writing is a healthy and therapeutic hobby. I highly recommend writing, or any kind of fine art for that matter, as time well spent.
