Forever is never enough

HER
"how long will you love me?"
"forever", he says
"when does forever end?"
"when my heart stops beating",he says
HIM
"do you always think of me?"
"I never stop", she says
"never let me go"
"i'll hold onto you forever" she says
"how long is forever?"
"not long enough" she says
we fall faster, we get closer.
never stopping, because its never over.
if we had run our course,i'd fade away
never again, to see the light of day.

all the time in the world is not long enough to last forever,and forever seems only to be a breif metting and passing by of time, tangled legs, and sweet murmurs of goodbye.
