My beautiful little dove.
I think of you as mine,
My favorite gem of love.

I think of you as sweet,
A sweet little chipmunk.
I think of you as lovely,
Not as a lame little punk.

I think of you as weird,
The kind I want to be.
I think of you as intelligent,
Way smarter than me.

I think of you as interesting,
And an amazing writer.
I think of you as happiness,
You make everything brighter.

I think of you as magnificent,
The best woman I know.
I think of you as wonderful,
because I love you, my little doe.

The author's comments:
I wrote this for my best friend. I was very insecure back then and held her in the highest esteem. I figured out later that she was just human like everyone else, not perfect.
