Why I refuse...
I just felt it again
That riveting violence through my heart
A wave of built up screams like harpies,
 Banshees,
 A frightened child,
Bloodcurdling like a disturbing mental image
Like an innocent child torn to bits by a wild dog
Or a kind woman being put through terror and torture
That breaking writhe as my heart heaves
And sighs as the pain is too much to bear
Every time I begin to feel and become tender with blind Bravery
I get hurt, maimed, mortified, collapsed, elipsed into fire
This is why I refuse to feel
This is why I refuse to love
 No gain, just pain
 From head to heel...
