By the window she stands

Blue gusts of wind flow on the outdoors painting the sky a deep ocean

By the window she stands

Gazing, glancing, glaring at the blue which has consumed the locale

By the window she stands

Staring at the peculiar light that is not painted by the sky nor consumed by it

By the window she waits

She waits for the light to consume her rather than the blue

By the window she waits

Waits for her life to begin beyond the blue

By the window she stands and waits

For her life to begin

I love this poem. I interpret it as a curious young girl, held back by the restraint of age. She's waiting till she's older to stop waiting by the window and go out and eplore the things she's been observing since she was a little girl
