Battle of coherent thoughts and the heart
You know how stupid it is,
How stupid it is to still care,
How stupid it is to still love-
To still, always; always be there.
How stupid it is to expect something,
Stupid of me to want you here,
Stupidity is when I know you never loved,
Yet, I still want you near.
Stupid of me to think that in parallels of this universe-
There's an 'us' too,
Stupid of me to want to rewrite our whole story,
Stupid of me to still, deeply want you.
Stupid of me to think you might stay,
Stupid of me thinking that there's a 'we',
Stupid of me to beg you countlessly,
Stupid of me to think you'll hear my plea.
And the worst of it all,
I know this but still I love and care,
Stupid me can't stop adoring you,
Stupid me who loves, even though of the cruelty, she's aware.
