Continuum of The Mind
The way you make my whole consciousness sit in
One single spot but often bounces from overthinking
To thinking about the steps to winning
You’re often shaped
Like a ball of fire that is as hot as the face of the sun
But becomes hard as the bedrock of the deepest soil
To It rationing out how much it wants to be done
Never have I thought about anything like this as a adolescent
But dang do I hate everything about this rotten essence
sometimes I often sit and think
will this ever end
The constant rush of thoughts and dwelling on stuff that isn’t important
To feeling and saying certain things very hesitantly
Often do I think about the goods that are sometimes blatantly
I learned how to be at harmonious peace within myself
Learned how to calm my thoughts and everything around me
But never have I ever thought that peace is the best thing to be.
