drifted away-pulled apart
memories flow back like rain
the recollection
of blooming flowers
your curly hair flows
like a poets ink and quill
head rested in my lap
as i painted the memories
paint now cracking and chipped
the snow falls
on the first of the december
the flowers wilted from the water damage
the time is over
but never
will i look back
with hatred
