Jonquils
A boy holds a handful of Jonquils.
Standing over the grave
of that which he loved.
He’s been stoic for too long, he lets the tears flow.
A white egret orchid,
a gentle breeze.
Best friend by his side,
but he wishes
she could be there too.
The life he took from her,
the happiness he’s taken from everyone.
He looks down at his pale, thin body.
And promises to live the life
he accidentally took from her.

Paintchip poetry! Originally 'a boy' was Sunny, and 'best friend' was 'flower boy' because this was inspired by Omori!
