Gone
I scream, I cry, I want to die
please just let me go back home
I’m good, I’m kind, I want to find
a way out of this terrible place
I’m upset, I'm mad, extremely sad
I cannot bear to see my mother cry
confused, stumped, then we were dumped
into a place I have never seen
I'm cold, I'm sick, we need to stick
together in this freezing dark place
My Dad is gone. but we need to move on
so our lives can be spared today
