Melodic Dreams
A song about a man named Sam to help me drift to sleep
Meant to be echoing in my ear to help me forget
The Love Still Held Me Near to remind me I’m not alone
Songs of hope ring out clear
Stories of sorrow that I hold dear
In my moments of need he’s always near
Just a few short clicks
And away with my fear
Inspiration flows through my veins
I know now not to fear the rain
The lightning doesn’t scare me anymore
Because these songs are at my core
And suddenly I regain a sense of hope
It's a new day with the stresses behind me
And as I drift off to sleep a song of love fills my ears
Images start to crowd my mind as the dream takes over
I dream of stormy seas slowing to a calm tide
And raging wind to a whistling breeze
