Time for a Change
Worldwide,
it’s the leading cause of disability,
yet I feel so alone in this dark world.
Looking for the light, nowhere to be found.
Searching for happiness in every crevice of the earth,
for it to be unseen.
Millions like me have been struggling for years upon years.
Vast illnesses, yet insufficient guidance.
Stigma and shame prevent us from getting the help to feel sane.
She’s asked for help numerous times just to hear
“It’s all in your head, it will pass.”
Or
It’ll be her third time getting tied down to a bed to be sedated.
I hate when my friend gets called
“insane” or “crazy”
for something she can’t control.
It’s time to break the stigma and shame,
and eventually help those who feel the same.
Find resources to help everyone worldwide
to change their mood from 1-10.
