The curse of circe
The Curse of Circe
She ponders with a look of blasé,
The misfortune of conventional life.
This superficial world drives her to craze.
Still, she grasp at the material and rich of existence.
The contemplation in the look of beauty,
Backgrounds of envy while draped in optimism of freedom.
Such simple indulgences come with a price.
A slippery path to fall into her kingdom.
Aware of her effect
Yet she continues to lure;
Oblivious to the damnation of many.
Hidden in the riches of other’s problems.
There is no escaping,
Not for her at least.
