.Forgotten
They had been forgotten, left to rot here
Most of them were dejected, trembling with fear,
Cut up in pieces, left discarded on the ground
Withering, decaying yet there was no sound.
The crys were silent, the tears dropped carefully
With their shrivelled, wounded and injured body
They were set in a melancholy of a thousand years.
Oh someone come get us after all these centuries!
We long for your warm embrace, we long for someone
That could pick us in a gentle manner up to the sun!
We need care, to be polished and loved,
Wash us of our dirt, wash us of our blood!
Oh, I did have some pity for their abandoned souls
They maybe were meant for this though , I suppose
Just hoping, waiting for some loving sun beams
Oh, yes waiting were those little forgotten dreams.

This is a poem supposed to show how we forget about dreams as we grow up, something saw often. Our dreams are left discarded because we grew up or straight up forgot. I also wanted a little twist or "révélation" at the end, since it is only there we understand this poem fully.
